Hyundai Creta, the best-selling vehicle in the segment will soon get an all-new version in the Indian market. The next-generation Hyundai Creta will look much different from the current version of the vehicle and will also grow in size. In fact, the all-new Creta in India will offer 7-seats and will grow substantially in size. But what will it look like? Here are five ways including speculative renders that indicates what the second-generation Creta will look like.
The Venue look
The Hyundai Venue is the latest SUV from the Korean manufacturer and follows the newest design of the brand. Since the Creta will be placed just above the Venue in the Hyundai line-up, it is quite possible that the all-new second-generation Creta’s look will be inspired by the Venue SUV. Here is a rendering by Kleber Silva that shows what the Creta inspired by Venue will look like in real life. It gets similar split headlamp set-up with the sleek turn indicators placed just below the bonnet lid while the main headlamps will be placed down below. It also gets square DRL surrounding the headlamp cluster just like the Venue.
The Kona look
Hyundai will also bring the all-new SUV Kona in India. Since the all-new Creta will be designed as an all-new product, it is likely that the premium Kona SUV will inspire the look of the upcoming Creta. The rendered image that is shown here takes design cues from the Hyundai Kona and gets a sleek body design. The split headlamp set-up in this vehicle works differently as the sleek lamps placed above act as the DRL and the cluster below work as the headlamp.
The long version
This is actually how the all-new Creta might look in the long-wheelbase version when it is launched. Since the Indian-spec Creta will offer three-row seating, it will be longer in length and this rendered image captures that perfectly. The front-end of the vehicle is inspired completely by the new Santa Fe SUV and gets the split headlamp set-up. It also gets a body-wide silver strip in the front that underlines both the headlamps and runs across the front of the Creta.
Hyundai ix25 look
Since Hyundai sells the Creta as ix25 in the Chinese market and the current version of the vehicle is quite similar to the ix25 in China, the all-new Creta can follow similar design language. Hyundai officially showcased the next-generation Creta in China and it looks quite radical. The front-end gets a split headlamp set-up but the front DRLs are extremely sleek and are not connected to the grille, which makes them look odd. Also, all LED headlamp cluster positioned below does not look great. There is a third front fog lamp cluster at the front and the SUV feels very animated in looks.
Hyundai ix25-inspired
But what if Hyundai India takes inspiration from the ix25 and does not bring an identical copy to the Indian market. Well, if that’s the case then it may look like this rendered image that is based on the ix25. It gets broader DRL at the front and a toned down version of the headlamps when compared to the ix25. Even the rear of the vehicle looks sophisticated when compared to the all-new ix25.
