Ever since its launch here in 2009, the Volkswagen Polo has been an enthusiast favourite hatchback across the country. And despite being more than 10 years old, its design still can give a tough competition to other recently launched cars in its segment. The typical German quality along with the excellent 7-speed DCT box and good driving dynamics made it a hit. However, the lack of a proper update policy from the company ensured its downfall. A hot favourite among modifiers, the Volkswagen Polo is also among the most modified hatchback in the country when it comes to serious and hardcore mods. An example is presented below in the video by GOKZ MOTOGRAPHY. Take a look at this smoking hot Polo before we proceed towards the details of this car.
The alloys on this car deserve a special mention. Usually, we mention the wheels later down in the article but here they play the role of the protagonist itself. The gorgeous brushed metal finish alloys on this Polo are from Radi8, which is a U.S. based company specialising in making ultra gorgeous rims. We bet they would make any car look uber cool, no matter which car it is. They have been shod on with low profile rubbers which declare the sporty intentions of this car to its fullest. We could talk a whole lot more about them wheels but then this article is about the red hot Polo and not the slashing and dashing rims on it.
Moving on then, this Polo has been modified quite soberly and carries a very mature look. The front end carries minimal changes and gets a redesigned bumper with LEDs above the side air dam. The headlights are also new aftermarket units that enhance the look of the car. The sides get skirts on the bottom and those marvellous rims. Let’s not start again about those wheels though. Also, to let you know, the mod job on this car is done by N1 Concepts
The rear end features a custom diffuser with twin exhaust tips. A roof spoiler adds a sporty appeal to the car. The roof has been covered in black which contrasts well with the shiny red shade of the car.
The suspension on this Polo has been tweaked and it now sits quite low. For those who are thinking this is a plain slamming job, think again. This Polo is in fact bagged and gets a functioning air suspension which lifts it up in no time. Bagged cars are better than simple stanced cars because they also offer practicality along with looks and drama. Simply put, this Volkswagen Vento is a mod job for mature and classy enthusiasts, away from the horde of flashy and over the top Polo mod jobs across the country.
