The Maruti Suzuki Baleno is one of the best premium hatchbacks in the country. Maruti sells more units of the car per month than the competition put together and of late, has become one of the top-selling cars for the company. In January this year, Maruti Suzuki launched a facelift version of the Baleno which came with a few tweaks on the interiors as well as the exteriors. The video below by Shivam Autozone shows a number of authorized accessories that are available for the Baleno along with their prices. The Baleno variant used here is the Delta variant, which is the comes next after the base Sigma variant. All the accessories shown here are authorized ones supplied by Maruti Suzuki itself. They are fitted at the dealership itself and hence can not be deemed as illegal by the authorities. While the car showcased here with the full accessory kit may not be according to everyone’s taste, one can always select the accessories according to their own preference.
Talking about the accessories, the Baleno here gets 16” precision cut alloy wheels, dual tone exteriors with black and red shades, chrome door handles along with chrome window sill lining, blue neon lights and lastly, trunk door chrome garnish. All these accessories are for the exteriors and will enhance the way the car looks. The Delta variant of the Baleno does not come with alloy wheels but you can opt for them as they make the car look pretty good. The blacked out roof compliments the red paint shade of the car. The lower body of the car has been given a black finish all around to give the car a more rugged look.
On the interiors front, the accessories available are armrest, black seat covers with silver highlights and ribbed pattern along with custom made designer mats with Baleno embossed on them. The prices for all these accessories are mentioned below and the most expensive among them are the alloy wheels, which cost Rs. 44,660.
Talking about the car, the Baleno is offered with 3 engine options. There is a naturally aspirated 1.2 litre, 4 cylinder K-Series petrol engine with 82 Bhp of power and 113 Nm torque along with a 1 litre 3 cylinder turbocharged BoosterJet petrol engine with 101 Bhp of power and 150 Nm of torque. The diesel engine on offer is a 1.3 litre Fiat Multijet turbocharged unit with an output of 74 Bhp and 190 Nm. All three engines get 5-speed manual gearboxes as standard while the 1.2-litre petrol gets a CVT automatic gearbox as an option. Maruti Suzuki also introduced a hybrid petrol engine recently which is actually a tweaked 1.2-litre petrol unit of the Baleno with hybrid technology added. This engine produces 89 Bhp of power along with 113 Nm of torque and comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
