Check out the Renault Kwid Facelift in all colours, inside-out [Video]

Renault recently launched facelifted version of their popular hatchback Kwid in the country. Renault made sure that new Kwid looked more fresh and appealing to its customers. The new Kwid now looks more like a new-gen car than just a mere facelift. Renault had launched the facelifted Kwid at a starting price of Rs 2.83 lakh, ex-showroom which is cheaper than the competition. It competes with the likes of Maruti Suzuki S-Presso and Tata Tiago. Here we have a video from Auto Trend TV which shows the new Kwid in different colours.

The video starts at a stock yard of Renault. Many cars could be seen parked in the lot and the video starts by showing the new Kwid with the basic Grey and white paint scheme. The white Kwid in the video looks looks like a lower variant as it does not get the body colour on the rear ORVMs. The grey one on the other hand looks like a higher variant as it has body coloured ORVMs. The comes the third colour, The Kwid is also available with a Red paint job. All the Kwid’s shown in the video are equipped with a 1.0L engine. The proof of the same can be seen on the decals on the rear door next to the cladding.

Then the video takes us to a new location which looks like a showroom and a Kwid in Blue colour can be seen. The Kwid looks quite beautiful in this new paint job. The video then takes us to the interiors of the car it shows the dashboard, touchscreen infotainment system, air-con controls of the new Kwid. Then there is another Kwid in the same colour, except this time it is a Climber edition. what sets apart Climber from normal Kwid is the orange inserts that it gets on the interiors and exteriors.

Coming to the engine of the facelifted Kwd, there is a 799cc, three-cylinder naturally-aspirated engine that generates a maximum power of 54 Bhp and 72 Nm of peak torque. The more powerful 1.0-litre, a three-cylinder petrol engine is also available with the Kwid. It churns out a maximum power of 67 Bhp and peak torque of 91 Nm. smaller engine gets a 5-speed manual whereas the bigger 1.0 engine gets both manual and AMT as an option. The Renault Kwid forms the basis for a 7 seat compact MPV called the Triber. The MPV shares its platform and mechanicals with the Kwid 1.0.
