Royal Enfield motorcycles are quite popular in the country. They have a cult following because of their retro designs. The Classic and Bullet range of motorcycles are quite popular in Royal Enfield’s line up. Royal Enfield also has a couple of twin cylinder motorcycles Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650, which are the cheapest twin cylinder motorcycles on sale in India. Royal Enfield is working on couple of new models that it would be launching in the market soon. Here we have a render video that shows what a regular Royal Enfield Classic motorcycle would look like if it were to get a 650-cc heart.
The video has been uploaded by SRK Designs on his youtube channel. The Classic 650 render in the video is purely artist’s imagination and as of now Royal Enfield does not have any plans of introducing a bigger engine to the Classic series of retro motorcycles. The Royal Enfield Classic 650 motorcycle in the render gets a few changes in comparison to the regular 350cc versions.

Starting with the front, the 650 render gets a new set of front forks similar to the one seen in Interceptor 650. The motorcycle continues to get spoke wheels and disc brakes on both the wheels. The handle bar in the 650 Classic is different from the 350 version. It is taller than before and the rake angle on the motorcycle is also more than Classic 350.
Coming to the side profile, the fuel tank, side panels are all identical to the small capacity version. The noticeable change is however the engine itself. The single cylinder 350-cc engine has been replaced with the bigger 648-cc, twin cylinder, oil cooled, fuel injected engine producing 47 Bhp and 52 Nm of peak torque.
With a bigger engine in place, the weight of the Classic 650 will go up considerably and the chassis will also have to be reinforced to handle the extra weight. The single seater Classic 350 chrome looks extremely good and the seat has also been redesigned. Coming to the rear, the stock tail lights have been replaced with a small unit which is placed on the chrome mudguard. Apart from these changes, everything else remains the same in terms of styling in the Classic 650 render.
Royal Enfield is currently working on a new cruiser motorcycle which is likely to replace Thunderbird X. The studio images of the upcoming motorcycle has already surfaced online and the motorcycle will be known as Meteor 350.
