The Bolero here does not get a host of changes or modification. It is the recently launched BS6 version which gets a redesigned bumper, front grille and headlamp in comparison the older versions. The only prominent change or modification on this Bolero is the huge 20 inch aftermarket alloy wheels.

The alloy wheel design on this Bolero reminds of Mercedes G-Wagen. The new 20-inch alloy wheels lift up the muscular look of Bolero altogether. It gives it a sporty and SUVish stance and as it now gets bigger wheels, the ground clearance of the car has also been increased.

No other major changes are made to the Bolero and looks simple and beautiful. Mahindra Bolero BS6 version now comes equipped with safety features like dual airbags, high speed alert, driver and co-driver seat belt reminder, rear parking sensor as standard. The 2020 version of Bolero is now available in three trims – B4, B6 and B6(O). Top end B6 trim gets features like power windows, music system, central locking and so on. The Bolero is a highly regarded multi-utility-vehicle that currently has no direct competition. Known for its ruggedness and reliability, both paramilitary and civilians use this vehicle in a big way, making it India’s best selling MUV.

It is now powered by a BS6 compliant 1.5 litre diesel engine that generates a maximum of 75 Ps and 195 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and does not come with an automatic transmission even as an option. Price for BS6 Mahindra Bolero now starts at Rs 7.98 lakh, ex-showroom and goes up to Rs 8.99 lakh, ex-showroom. Mahindra has also been working on the all-new Thar for some time and will be launching it in early October this year.
