Before the official unveiling of the all-new Kia Sonet in India on 7th August 2020, the official sketches of the cabin have been released. The all-new Sonet will take on the established cars like the Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon and more. Since the sub-4m car will arrive in the market a bit late than others, Kia will offer a slew of features that will attract the customers. Many of these features will be first-in-segment. Kia is yet to officially disclose the features that will be available with the all-new Sonet but they have released the first-ever sketches of the cabin and there are a few features that we can make out by looking at them.
The Sonet will offer a clean looking dashboard finished in a single-tone colour. It is also possible that different trim levels will get different colour options. This is the top-end version and it reveals that the all-new Sonet will get a massive 10.25-inch infotainment screen, which will floating type and will be positioned as an extension of the instrument cluster. The instrument cluster seems to be all-digital or analogue-digital. The speedometer is large and will show speed in bold numbers.
Further, the all-new Sonet will also get the Bose speaker system and ambient lighting that is likely to be connected with the speakers just like the Seltos. There is a separate display for the climate control system and an integrated air filter system. The infotainment system also shows various icons that confirms features like voice control, UVO Connect and more but the system also shows an icon saying “Drive Video Recording”, which can be a first-of-its-kind feature of integrated dashboard camera. It was introduced recently in Kia K5 and can be launched in India with the Sonet.

Kia will offer both petrol and diesel engine options with the Sonet. There will be three engine options. The base variants will get 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine while the higher-end variants will get the 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine.
