Hyundai Verna Facelift: New TVC out

Hyundai recently launched the facelifted version of their mid size sedan Verna in the market. It competes with cars like Honda City, Maruti Ciaz, Skoda Rapid and Volkswagen Vento in the segment. The Verna launched in the market is not a generation update but a facelift only. The car has already started reaching dealerships and the price for Verna facelift, now starts at Rs 9.30 lakh ex-showroom and goes up to Rs 15.09 lakh, ex-showroom. Here we have a new commercial of the facelifted Hyundai Verna that has been released online.

The TVC has been uploaded and shared by Hyundai India on their official youtube channel. The video basically shows all the revision that are made to the facelifted version in comparison to the older one. The Verna has always been a good looking sedan in the segment and thing are not any different in the facelif as well. The front of the car gets number of changes like a wider front grille with gloss black and chrome studded inserts, all LED headlamps that have been slightly redesigned and a new revised bumper. The headlamp cluster gets LED DRLs and turn indicators integrated in it.

The revised bumper gives it a much more sharp and sporty look from the front. Coming to the side profile, the design remains the same as before. It gets a sloping roof design that joins the boot at the rear. The alloy wheels on the updated version are also different from the older version. Rear bumper has also bee redesigned and the tail lights are now LED units.

On the inside, it gets features like ventilated seats, wireless mobile charging, digital instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment system, BlueLink connectivity features, sunroof and so on.  It gets safety features like ABS, EBD, Airbags, ESC, Vehicle Stability Management, Emergency Stops signal, front park assist sensors, rear parking camera and rear disc brakes.

The Hyundai Verna is available with three engine options: A 1.5 litre petrol and diesel engines, and a 1.0 litre turbo petrol engine. The 1.5 litre petrol unit generates 115 Ps and 114 Nm of torque. It is available with a manual and CVT gearbox option. The 1.5 litre diesel engine generates 115 Ps and 250 Nm of torque and is available with a manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox. The 1.0 litre turbo petrol engine generates 120 Ps and 172 Nm of torque and is available with a 7-speed DCT gearbox only.
