Mahindra Bolero Camper beautifully transformed into a Jeep Wrangler Gladiator [Video]

The iconic American manufacturer Jeep entered the Indian market a few years ago with the models like Wrangler and Grand Cherokee. While they also offer the affordable Compass in the Indian market, most enthusiasts dream to own the iconic Wrangler, which is considered as one of the best off-roading SUVs in the world. In the international markets, Jeep also offers a wider range of cars and even a pick-up iteration of the Wrangler, which is known as the Gladiator is also available. Back in India, we do not get that. An enthusiast has found a way out and transformed his humble Mahindra Bolero Camper into a Wrangler Gladiator.

The car has been transformed by Green Army Motorsport in Gurugram, Haryana. The transformation job looks neat and the work done on it looks fantastic as well. This video explains a few alterations that have been done to the car.

To start with, the vehicle’s body structure has been altered with in-house fabricated parts. It now gets a new bonnet lid and a new front-end that makes it look similar to the Wrangler Gladiator. At the front, it gets ARB off-road spec bumper with an integrated winch. The vehicle also gets aftermarket grille with angry birds cover to make it look exclusive and aggressive. There is a multiple LED lightbar installed in the front. It can be very useful during night trails. There are spotlights mounted on the top of the car too.

From the side, the wheel arches have become much bigger and add an extreme look to the car. It now rides on 16-inch steel rims with massive 38-inch tyres. At the rear, not much has been changed but the flatbed has been given a hard coat that makes it scratch-resistant and adds a premium look.

There are a number of changes on the inside too. The first thing that you will notice in this transformation job is the number of screens. There is a massive Tesla-inspired screen in the middle while two medium-sized scenes showing various readings on the side. The car also has a 360-degree view, which is very useful while taking the car into cramped places. The seats have been changed too and now they look much more comfortable. All the seats have leather covers and Jeep branding on them, adding a premium look.

The video does not talk about the engine specs though. It is likely that the engine has been updated too. Also, the cost and time taken for this job are not known. Such modification jobs can cost lakhs of rupees. It should be noted that such modification jobs are not legal and cops can seize the vehicle if used on the public roads.
