This S-Presso hatchback customised by Maruti Suzuki’s ARENA dealership looks good

Maruti Suzuki launched the S-Presso tall hatchback in the market last year. Maruti likes to call it a micro SUV because of its SUV like front bumper with faux skid and cladding around the car. The hatchback competes with cars like Renault Kwid, Tata Tiago in the segment. Kwid is a very unique looking car in the segment and for that uniqueness many have bought it already. Maruti Suzuki sells it through Arena dealerships and number of customisation options are also available. Here we have one such S-Presso that has been modified at the dealership level.

The S-Presso Live limited edition looks exactly like a regular S-Presso hatchback. It receives number customisations that gives it an upmarket feel. Starting with the front, the front grille retains the chrome inserts inside the grille. It misses out on features like LED DRL that is usually installed on the bumper. Instead of that, it gets a black garnish that goes well with the overall theme of the car. The silver coloured faux skid plate and the black lower part of the bumper gives it a rugged look.

On the side profile, the dual dual tone treatment on the car is more evident. The side cladding gets a silver insert and the ORVMs and roof are completely blacked out. Other customisation here is the diamond cut dual tone alloy wheels that comes as an accessory with the car. The black garnish can be seen at the rear reflector area as well. The spoiler is also blacked out and the boot gets along chrome strip running between the tail lights.

Apart from that everything remains the same. It is not known whether interiors also gets red and black treatment as part of the package. The S-Presso hatchback is powered by a 1.0 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 67 Bhp and 90 Nm of torque. It is available with both manual and AMT gearbox options. A CNG fuel version was also launched in the market earlier this year which is available with a manual gearbox only. Price for Maruti Suzuki S-Presso starts at Rs 3.70 lakh, ex-showroom and go up till Rs 5.13 lakh, ex-showroom. The car is meant for those who want an affordable hatchback with high ground clearance and funky looks. Maruti aims to sell the S-Presso mainly to younger buyers.
