Toyota Innova Facelift in white and bronze colours

Toyota will soon officially launch the facelifted version of the Innova Crysta in Indonesia. Before the official launch, the updated Innova Crysta, which is known as the Kijang Innova in Indonesia, has been spotted on the roads and even alongside the current version of the MPV. Here are more pictures that show the new facelifted Innova Crysta in white and bronze colours.

It should be noted that the Toyota Innova Crysta in India will also receive similar updates and the new version is likely to be launched in 2021. However, there will be a few India-specific changes or tweaks to suit the buyers. We are not sure if Toyota will launch the bronze colour as seen in the pictures by Indra Fatha in India although it used to be available with the previous-generation Innova.

The facelifted version of the Toyota Innova Crysta does not change much compared to the current version of the MPV. It remains of similar size too. At the front, it gets a different grille, which is bigger than before and is finished in dual-tone chrome and black colour. The grille also gets more slats. There are five slats compared to the three available with the current model.

Further, the shape of the headlamps has not changed. Instead, the light has been extended and now seems to be merging into the grille, giving a feel of continuity. The picture also shows an updated bumper that looks extremely aggressive and makes the front of the vehicle look very different from the front. Also, the fog lamp housings have been updated with black triangular surround. There are no major changes in the rear of the vehicle.

It should be noted that white colour is one of the most popular colours in the Indian market when it comes to automobiles. Even most Innova Crysta MPVs sold in the market are finished in white colour.

The dashboard of the Toyota Innova Crysta remains similar to the current version of the MPV. However, we may get to see a few added features. Toyota is likely to offer a full TFT MID in the instrument cluster, a new digital automatic climate control system, ambient roof lighting system and new LED stop lamp. There is also VSC and updated smart key system.

In India, Toyota will continue to offer the same engine options as the current model. There will be a 2.7-litre petrol engine and a 2.4-litre diesel engine. The petrol engine is only available with an automatic transmission while the diesel variants are available with both manual and automatic transmission option.
