India’s first Hyundai Venue with Terminator Wrap

It’s been a while since Hyundai launched the Venue in the Indian market. When it was launched it gave a stiff competition to the segment leader Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. It also managed to steal away its first position for some while. So, it has been quite a successful vehicle for Hyundai.

Here we have a Hyundai Venue which is wrapped by Autobahn Vizag and comes with a lot more other customizations too. The video has been uploaded by Viper Shot on their YouTube channel. It is known as Terminator Wrap and comes with a matte finish. It also comes with aftermarket TSW dual-tone alloy wheels which also feature blue lug nuts as a highlight. There are C-shaped turn indicators placed on Outside Rear View Mirrors. The turn indicators also come with LED arrow indicators. The split turn indicator at the front and the rear LED tail lamps to get a smoked finished effect for a more stealthy look.

The interior of the Hyundai Venue has also been redesigned slightly. It retains its multi-function steering wheel and the 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system which comes with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also gets automatic climate control and air purifier. The biggest change that you see is in the upholstery. The buyer has chosen white quilted upholstery with stitching for the interior. Even the front centre armrest has been finished in white upholstery with stitching. This gives the Venue a much more unique and premium look. There are no changes being made to the front LED Daytime Running Lamp and the headlights. So, it continues to get halogen projector headlamps.

Hyundai Venue is offered with three engine options. There are two petrol engines and a diesel engine on offer. There is a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine which produces 83 PS of max power and a peak torque output of 113 Nm. It comes mated to only a 5-speed manual transmission. Then there is the 1.5-litre diesel engine which is derived from Kia Seltos. It is a detuned unit so it produces 100 PS of max power and 240 Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. However, the highlight of the Venue is the 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. The direct-injection, three-cylinder petrol engine produces 120 PS of max power and 171 Nm of peak torque. It comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard. Although, you can get a 7-speed Dual-Clutch automatic transmission.

The most recent addition to the Venue is the iMT or intelligent Manual Transmission. In this one, you have to change the gears manually but the clutch is engaged automatically. It is a great alternative to the dual-clutch automatic transmission because the iMT does not require any complex mechanicals as the dual-clutch transmission involves which reduces the cost of the vehicle quite a bit. Hyundai Venue starts from Rs. 6.75 lakhs ex-showroom and goes all the way up to Rs. 11. 65 lakhs ex-showroom.
