Well, here are ten of them.

Will be the most affordable vehicle in the segment

Even though the price announcement will happen tomorrow. Earlier, price leaks suggested that the Magnite will be priced at around Rs 5.5 lakh while the top-end version will be priced much below Rs 10 lakh mark. However, the official prices will be announced tomorrow. Currently, the Kia Sonet with a base price of Rs 6.79 lakh is the most affordable vehicle in the segment. The Nissan Magnite will definitely undercut the Sonet.

Around view monitor

The all-new Nissan Magnite will get the 360-degree view monitor, which will be known as the Around View Monitor or AVM. It is a segment-first feature and is quite helpful. You can also activate the left or the right-hand side cameras for better parallel parking.

Continous Variable Transmission (CVT)

The Magnite is the only car in the segment to offer a CVT transmission. While the competition vehicles offer gearboxes like torque convertor, Dual-clutch automatic transmission and even intelligent manual transmission, none of them offers a CVT. The X-Tronic CVT available with the Magnite will be unique in the segment.

All petrol engines

Nissan will offer two petrol engine options with the Magnite. There is no diesel engine on offer. There will be a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates a maximum power of 72 PS and peak torque of 96 Nm. It will be available only with a manual transmission option. The more powerful version – the 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine generates a maximum power of 100 PS and peak torque of 172 Nm. It is available with both manual and CVT automatic.

Sleekest headlamps in the segment

The Magnite’s top-end version get full LED headlamps. Nissan claims these lamps to be the sleekest in the segment and they do look extremely good on the car. Nissan also claims the lamps to have the widest throw in the segment.

Dual screen set-up

The Magnite offers one of the most vivid-looking driver instrument clusters in the segment. The driver gets the 7.0-inch full TFT instrument cluster that offers some advanced level of graphics and shows a lot of information. There are also different modes that change the look of the cluster completely. Also, the Magnite gets an 8.0-inch infotainment system to complete the dual-screen set-up.

Wireless connectivity of Android and Apple phones

The Magnite is the only car in the segment to offer wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay option. This allows compatible phones to charge wirelessly and also connect to the infotainment system for Maps, Music and calls wirelessly through the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay system.

Biggest glove box

The Magnite offers a massive glove box of 10 litres. While there is a lot of space all around the car to keep small items, the massive glove box is quite helpful. The glovebox gets light but there is no cooling function.

Ground clearance

The Magnite offers a massive 205mm of ground clearance, which is quite a lot! It is not best-in-the-segment but 205mm of ground clearance is a lot and ensures that the Magnite can take on the rough roads without any problem.

Additional features

Magnite will offer a Tech Pack too, which will add features like air purifier, wireless phone charger and a lot of other features too. This will allow the price of the car to remain low while allowing customers to choose what they want.
