Yuvraj Singh, the former Indian cricketer is also a major car enthusiast and owns a number of high-end vehicles. The former cricketer has now become the owner of a brand-new MINI Countryman. Yuvraj and his wife Hazel Keech took the delivery of the car and posted pictures online.
The new MINI Cooper Countryman is one of the biggest hatchbacks from the British carmaker. It is available with only a petrol engine option and there are only two variants available. Yuvraj has bought the car in the Chili Red colour with black stripes on it. It is a CBU model. The base price of the MINI Cooper Countryman in India is Rs Rs 38.5 lakh but Yuvraj Singh had opted for the JCW Inspired Cooper Countryman, which carries a price tag of Rs 42.4 lakh, ex-showroom.

This is not the regular variant of the MINI Countryman S. It is what MINI calls a JCW-Inspired edition that gets a slew of optional extras. This variant gets a sportier transmission but the engine remains the same.
MINI Cooper S Countryman JCW Inspired
Talking about the engine, the car comes powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine. It generates a maximum power of 192 PS and peak torque of 280 Nm at a low rpm of 1,350. It is the same engine that powers the regular MINI Cooper S Countryman too. However, the JCW Inspired variant gets an 8-speed Sport automatic Steptronic transmission while the regular version gets the 8-speed non-sport automatic transmission. However, according to the official figure, both the variants can do 0-100 km/h in a similar 7.5 seconds. There are no other mechanical changes between the two variants. Both the variants even return the same fuel economy.
On the outside, the JCW Inspired variant gets the John Cooper Works Aerodynamic Kit. You can spot the front underbody spoiler, which is the part of the kit. Also, this version gets black-out ORVMs. At the rear, the JCW Inspired version looks sportier with the rear spoiler wing. The more expensive version of the Countryman S also offers the Comfort Access System. It is basically a keyless entry system and adds request sensor to the doors. The same system also allows opening of the boot from the remote. The regular MINI Cooper S Countryman does not get this feature.
On the inside, there are a few additional equipments as well. The JCW Inspired version comes with a Picnic Bench, anthracite headliner, Harman Kardon speakers, heads-up display, a navigation system, MINI Connected XL, wireless charging and JCW door entry stripes, stainless steel pedal covers and more. The JWC Inspired also gets John Cooper Works Thrill Spoke wheels with run-flat tyres. Also, the cabin gets more premium Leather Punch Carbon Black upholstery.

Yuvraj Singh has a list of tasteful cars in his garage. Starting with the BMW M3 convertible E46, Yuvraj also owns a Lamborghini Murcielago, an Audi Q5, A BMW M5 E60, Bentley Continental GT, BMW X6M. Yuvraj has bought the X6M from Dilip Chhabria sometime back. He often drives the SUV around his house and there are several pictures of both of them spotted together.
