New Hyundai Creta with Green Monster Wrap & Rs. 12 lakh worth modifications

Hyundai Creta is the best selling mid-size SUV in the Indian market. Many people were a bit sceptical about the design of the SUV that was launched last year. However, still, the sales number for Creta are really strong. It is one of the most commonly spotted vehicle on road. Because of which many buyers want their Creta to stand out on the road. Here, is a video uploaded by Viper Shot on their YouTube channel which showcases a Creta with a Green Monster Wrap.

The modifications are done by Autobahn Vizag and they have completely revamped the SUV from inside and out. The first thing that you would immediately notice is the Green Monster wrap that covers the whole SUV.

A wrap is actually is one of the easiest ways to make your vehicle stand out on road. The wrap simply stuck on your body panels and if it gets scratched or damaged, then you can easily peel it off. The cost of the wrap can range from 30K to 2 lakh depending on the quality of the wrap.

The wrap that Creta is using has a matte finish and is inspired by the Green Monster. Every body panel of the SUV has been wrapped including the roof. The SUV has also gone through chrome delete which removes all the chrome bits and pieces from the SUV. So the beltline of the window and the outside rearview mirrors has been finished in gloss black. There are also some new alloy wheels sourced from LENSO and they measure 18-inches in size.

The front has also been redone with blacked-out bits. The entire front has also been redone. The skid plate and the air dam is black. The front cascading grille and even the Hyundai’s logo is finished in black. The fog lamps and the headlamps have been given a smoke effect.

At the rear, the lower half of the bumper and the rear faux skid plate is finished in black. The rear LED tail lamps get a smoked effect and the red strip that runs between the two tail lamps on the regular Creta has been replaced by a light bar.

The interior has been modified with Echo Nappa Genuine Italian Leather. This gives a premium and more upmarket feel to the cabin. The stock infotainment system has been replaced by Pioneer’s unit. The stock speaker setup is replaced with Xelsus audio system.

The variant that has been modified is the SX(O) which is the top-end trim. The total cost of the modifications was Rs. 12 lakhs which is a lot. The Creta itself starts from Rs. 9.99 lakhs and the SX(O) variant costs Rs. 16.07 lakhs ex-showroom for the diesel version.

Hyundai offers the Creta in three engine options. There is a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The naturally aspirated engine produces 115 PS of max power and 144 Nm of peak torque. The turbo petrol engine produces 140 PS of max power and a peak torque output of 242 Nm. The diesel engine produces 115 PS of max power and 250 Nm of peak torque.
