Kia Sonet was launched in the market last year post lockdown. It is a sub-4 meter compact SUV that competes with cars like Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon and other SUVs in the segment. It quickly became popular among buyers for its feature loaded cabin and premium exterior looks. The top-end variants have several features whereas the lower variants miss out on many. Here we have a video where a brand new Kia Sonet HTK variant gets a customised interiors which gives it a premium look on the inside.
The video has been uploaded by VIG AUTO ACCESSORIES on their YouTube channel. The Sonet seen here is a brand new SUV and the owner wanted to customise the interiors. Starting with the door panels. they get white leather padding with black stitching on it. This is present on all the four doors. They also get illuminated scuff plates.

As we move in you would notice the floor mats with diamond shape stitching on it. Aftermarket LED lights have also been installed on the foot well area. Coming to the steering wheel, it now gets white and black steering cover which looks extremely good and goes well with the overall theme of the cabin. Moving to the seats, they have been covered in ultra soft dual tone seat covers. The front gets ice pearl white finish whereas the rear gets black. The fit and finish of these aftermarket seat covers is pretty good.
Apart from this, the owner has also installed neck cushions on the front seats and all the doors get damping too. This improves the NVH levels in the cabin. On the outside, the owner has opted for couple of modifications too. They have installed a roof rail, chrome door handle and rain visor on the car. The glass on this Kia Sonet gets a high infrared heat rejection clear film and a chrome beading has also been installed on the lower part of the door.
Coming to the front, the stock bulbs on the Kia Sonet were replaced with brighter LED units. The overall fit and finish of the work done on this Kia Sonet looks pretty neat. The video also mentions that, they also offer many other customisation options for the all-new Kia Sonet. Top-end variants of Kia Sonet is available with features like ventilated seats, touchscreen infotainment screen with connected car features, electric sunroof, multi function steering wheel, cruise control and so on.
Kia Sonet is available with three engine and variety of transmission options. There is a 1.0 litre, three cylinder turbo petrol engine option that comes with 7-speed DCT and iMT gearbox option. The engine generates a maximum of 120 Ps and 172 Nm of torque. The next engine on offer is the 1.5 litre turbo diesel engine this engine is available with a 6-speed automatic and a manual gearbox option. The diesel engine generates 113 Bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque. The 1.2 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine in Kia Sonet is available with a manual gearbox only. It generates 81 Bhp and 115 Nm of torque.
