Yezdi Roadking Scrambler fully REVEALED ahead of launch: Royal Enfield Himalayan challenger

We know that Yezdi is working on a scrambler and an adventure motorcycle. The adventure motorcycle will be called Yezdi Roadking while the scrambler might simply be called Yezdi Scrambler. The adventure motorcycle has now been spotted without any camouflage during a TVC shoot. The scrambler has also been spied but its fuel tank is still covered.

The Roadking adventure motorcycle has been benchmarked closely against the Royal Enfield Himalayan. There are certain design elements that are very similar to the Himalayan. Both motorcycles follow function over form design philosophy.

The motorcycle is finished in a blue and white paint scheme. The fuel tank is white in colour and there are two vertical stripes on it. There is also a small rubber pad and Yezdi branding between the stripes. From the spy shots, we saw that there is a skeleton around the front of the motorcycle, we can see in the new pictures that the skeleton is used to mount jerry cans. The same skeleton also forms the crash guard of the motorcycle.

There is a digital instrument cluster and knuckle guards. Knuckle guards will protect the levers in case of a fall and they can also provide some protection to the hands from the cold wind of the rider while riding in winters.

There are two mudguards in the front just like we have seen on other adventure motorcycles. The motorcycle is using spoked wheels so it will come with tubed tyres. The tyres themselves seems like are dual-purpose tyres. The front-wheel might measure 21-inches and the rear would measure 18-inches. A Dual-channel Anti-lock braking system would be on offer as standard and braking duties will be done by a disc in the front and at the rear.

There is a LED headlamp in the front with a tall windscreen. The side panels are relatively simple, finished in black and “ADVENTURE” is written on them. The engine and the up-swept exhaust is also finished in black. There are split seats and panniers mounted on the motorcycle. In the previous spy shots, we have seen pannier mounts. We expect Yezdi to offer a lot of touring accessories with the upcoming Roadking. At the rear, there is a circular LED tail lamp and circular turn indicators.

We expect Yezdi to use the engine from Jawa Perak for the Roadking. It is a 334 cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled engine that produces 30 PS of max power and 33 Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Yezdi Scrambler

The Scrambler comes with a ribbed single-seat, twin exhausts and a tyre hugger. The engine is also blacked out but the exhausts are finished in silver colour. If you look closely, there are two more motorcycles that are parked behind the scrambler. The second motorcycle is equipped with alloy wheels, bar-end mirrors, blacked-out exhausts and has split seats. The last motorcycle is equipped with chrome exhausts, a tall windscreen, a backrest and cruiser type seats. These motorcycles will be competing against the Royal Enfield Meteor 350.
