We have featured several tug of war videos on our website in the past. In most cases, these experiments feature car or bikes in them. There are even instances when a bike is seen competing against a car. Here however we have a very unique video where two vehicles from entirely different categories are seen competing against each other in a tug of war. Here we have a Suzuki Hayabusa superbike and mini farm tractor trying to pull each other in a tug of war.
The video has been uploaded by Crazy XYZ on their YouTube channel. The video starts with vlogger explaining the plan on video, he even shares weight and power figures of both the vehicles. He did mention the reason why he did not choose a big regular sized tractor for this experiment. The reason was that it would have been unfair for Hayabusa as it weighs more and will pull the bike easily.

In this case, the mini tractor weighs around 800 kilograms and the Suzuki Hayabusa weighs around 250-300 kilograms. Things look promising for tractor when we look at the weight but, when it comes to power the mini tractor only generates around 15 Hp and the Hayabusa generates around 200 Hp. Vlogger chose a closed road for doing this test.
Both the vehicles are lined up for the tug of war and they are tied to each other using a rope. The rope is tied to the frame of the motorcycle and the tractor already has a dedicated spot to tie a rope. Vlogger is on the bike while his friend is driving the tractor. Vlogger moves the bike forward slowly to tighten the rope. Once that was done, they tug of war started.
On paper it looked like the Hayabusa had the power advantage but, the results actually were quite surprising. Both mini tractor and Hayabusa were giving tight competition to each other. Vlogger was trying to pull the tractor with all the power that it has got but, it was unable to pull the tractor. Even the tyres that Hayabusa had were not helping in the situation. The tyres even started spinning at couple of places as it could not get any traction.
Mini tractor was not doing any better as well. Although it had weight, it lacked power due to which it was struggling to pull the bike. Both tractor and the Hayabusa were not moving and it looked like the competition would end in a tie. When the idea was explained in the video, it looked like a simple video but, it turned out to be quite interesting.
Suzuki Hayabusa started loosing grip after some time and that worked in favour of the tractor. The tractor slowly started making progress. It pulled the bike slowly towards the line and finally won the round. Mini tractor was announced as the winner of this tug of war.
This does not mean that Hayabusa is not a good bike. Tractor won this competition as it was heavier and has a lot more torque available at lower RPMs. Vlogger was wearing riding helmet for this experiment as there were chances that the bike might fall or the rope might snap during the tug of war.
