The collaboration also announced that in the first phase of this nationwide electrification program, charging stations will be set up across nine cities starting with Delhi and Bengaluru. Following which the network will then be expanded to other cities of the country with the aim to establish a high density of charging stations.

Hero MotoCorp further instilled that it will commence infrastructure development in the two cities very soon and each of the charging stations that it will install will feature multiple charging points including DC and AC chargers and will be available for use to all two-wheeled EVs. Subsequently, the leading motorcycle producer also announced that the entire user charging experience will be controlled by a Hero MotoCorp Mobile-App and will be a cashless transaction model.
