It is winters in North India and the mountain regions have experienced a lot of snow this year. Many of the routes have been closed due to heavy snowfall. Many winter tourist destinations cannot be accessed by road due to heavy snowfall. Many of routes can only be accessed by a 4×4 and riding a motorcycle in such conditions is a risk. We have seen several videos online where vloggers are seen exploring the mountains during snowfall. Very rarely you see videos of bikers on such terrains. Here we have on such video where a group of bikers had to load to their bikes in Army trucks because of heavy snowfall.
The video has been uploaded by JS Films on their YouTube channel. In this video, vlogger and his biker group were in the mountains for a campaign that they were doing in collaboration with the Indian Army. The vlogger does not mention what exactly the ride was for but, he did mention that they were riding to the Chang La Pass.

As he came down, they had a bunch of Royal Enfield Bullets and Himalayan motorcycles arranged for them. The vlogger also shows a bus that belonged to Indian Army that was parked in front of their hotel. The group geared up for the ride and the started riding. The group starts riding and soon they start seeing snow capped mountains. It was quite cold and even with several layers of jackets, the riders could feel the cold and the wind was getting in through small gaps.
After riding it for some time, they reached a cafe where they planned to take a break. It looked like a cafe managed by Indian Army. After some time, the Army personnel inform the group that they cannot ride the bikes ahead as there is heavy rainfall. The bus which was parked in front of there hotel was also following them and there were trucks parked at the cafe.
So the Army personnel started loading the bikes into the trucks and the riders boarded the bus. As they went ahead. The terrain completely changed and the roads were completely filled with snow. Riding a bike on such surface is actually a risky things because the chances or loosing traction and skidding are more. Snow is one of the toughest and trickiest terrains to drive or ride. The acceleration and braking must be done very carefully.
Any sudden movement on the steering or handle bar can make the driver or rider loose control over the vehicle and that can easily end up in an accident. That is why Army personnel asked the group to load the bikes into the truck. The vlogger asks bus driver to stop at couple of places. One such spot was the Chang La Pass and vlogger mentions that the temperature there was -27 degree celsius. Vlogger was finding it difficult to breathe because of the altitude and after that, the bus took them to a guest house which was run by the Indian Army.
