Delhi Cantonment is one of the greenest parts of the national capital. The story says that a lady dressed in white roams around the roads. She would ask for a lift and if the driver does not stop then she starts running alongside the vehicle and sometimes she even gets inside. Some people say that the spirit is of a woman who died in a fatal accident.

East Coast Road (ECR), Chennai
ECR or East Coast Road is considered to be one of the most beautiful roads during the daytime. It is used by people to travel from Puducherry and Chennai along the seashore of Arabian Story. However, during t the nighttime the road stays unlit because of which the drivers cannot see the road ahead properly. The forest that runs alongside also has some secluded sections. People say that they have spotted a woman with her toddler roaming around on that road. According to locals, both of them died several years ago.
NH-2019 Sathyamangalam Wildlife Sanctuary
This area once belonged to the infamous dacoit, Veerappan. A lot of murders were killed by him in this area. The locals report that loud screams and ghost-like figures are spotted moving around the area. This information has not yet been confirmed by anyone, it could be just troops of Veerappan.
Blue Cross Road, Chennai
Blue Cross Road is located in Basant Nagar, Chennai. It is covered in thick trees and it only has a single lane road. The road is known for an unusually high number of suicides. Locals do not use the road during the nighttime because they think that the spirits of the dead people still stay there and scare away the people.
Beasant Avenue, Chennai
The Beasant Avenue Road is in Chennai. There have been reports of people being pushed by an unnatural force. Also, there are stories of people being slapped by a ghost.
Kashedi Ghat
Kashedi Ghar connects Mumbai and Goa. It is one of the trickiest and most scenic roads of India. However, a lot of accidents have been reported in the past. The locals say that a person suddenly appears in front of the vehicle asking them to stop. People who do not stop or run over the ghost are said to meet with fatal accidents.
Igorchem Road, Goa
Igorchem Road is located behind the ‘Our Girl of Snows’ church. This road is said to be haunted even during the daytime. No one knows the exact reason why the road is exhausted but many people have had some scary experiences during the day.
Marve and Madh Road, Mumbai
People believe that this road is haunted by a bride who was brutally murdered and then dumped in the mangrove forest on the night of her wedding. The locals say that she comes back and stands in front of the vehicles. To avoid hitting her, drivers turn the steering wheel aggressively and end up in accidents.
Jamshedpur-Rachi
This part of the country has become very dangerous because Naxalites often hit it. Naxals have stopped several people and looted them during nighttime. The locals report that they have spotted ghost-like features. However, they could just be Naxals in some disguise.
Kasara Ghar, Mumbai-Nasik
The Mumbai-Nasik area is covered by thick forest. People report that they have seen human-like figures sitting on top of trees. Some people have also said they saw a headless lady in white clothes on the tree.
