Jimny to Baleno Cross: 5 new Maruti Suzuki cars launching in 2023

2022 has been a very eventful year for Maruti Suzuki. India’s largest car manufacturer launched several new products in the market. They introduced updated version of the existing models too. It looks like Maruti Suzuki is not done yet and is already preparing for 2023 with a slew of new products. Some of these models have been spotted testing and some are very close to production. Here we have a list of 5 such new Maruti cars that are expected to be launched in the market in next year.

Baleno Cross

Maruti recently launched their all-new mid-size SUV Grand Vitara in the market. It has received an overwhelming response and now the manufacturer is now working on another rugged looking crossover. It is known by codename YTB and is actually a rugged looking version of current gen Baleno. The Baleno Cross has been spotted several times.

The Baleno Cross is expected to be unveiled at the 2023 Auto Expo. It will be available with a 1.0 litre, Booster Jet petrol engine that was once offered with Baleno RS. It will be offered with a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Jimny

One of the most anticipated product Maruti Suzuki in India. As we already know, we won’t be getting the 3-door version of the SUV in India. A much more practical 5-door version of the SUV has been spotted testing on Indian soil and that is what the manufacturer will be launching. The Jimny 5-door will be showcased to public at the Auto Expo 2023. The SUV will be offered with a 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that is available with many other Marutis. It will be a proper 4×4 SUV and will be available with both manual and automatic transmission.

All-new Swift

Suzuki is currently testing the new generation Swift internationally. The fourth generation Swift will be debuted globally soon and the same is expected to come to India as well. Swift has always been a popular car among buyers and the upcoming Swift is expected to have a sharper looking design than the current one. Itwill come with a 1.2 litre DualJet petrol engine that generates 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox option. Maruti is expected to launch the new generation Swift in India next year.

Brezza CNG

Months after the launch of 2022 Maruti Brezza, the manufacturer is planning to launch a CNG version of this popular compact SUV. The Brezza CNG is expected to launched in the market next year. It will be powered by the same 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine but will generate less power and torque while in CNG mode. It will be offered with both manual and automatic transmission option.

Grand Vitara 7-seater

The fifth Maruti that is expected to be launched in the market in 2023 is a 7-seater version of their recently launched Grand Vitara SUV. When launched, Grand Vitara will become the first 7-seater SUV in the country to be offered with a strong hybrid engine. It is expected to compete with Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and Hyundai Alcazar in the segment.
