Vijay Singh Deol whom we most commonly know as Bobby Deol is one of the famed Bollywood actors that has been around for a good few decades. Over the years, the actor has starred in hit movies like Housefull 4, Race 3, and Yamla Pagla Deewana among a few others. Recently the actor celebrated his 54th birthday and for the celebrations, he reached his family-owned Vijayta Films Studio. The actor was seen arriving in his swanky Porsche 911. Upon arrival, Bobby was greeted by his fans and was garlanded by them in celebration of his birthday.

The video of Bobby Deol arriving in his 911 was shared by Voompla, an Instagram page that posts all the celebrity news. The caption of the video said, “Almost 2 crore ki gaadi! Yep this is Bobs’ aka Bobby Deol’s famous Red Porsche Cayenne Turbo! And guess what he’s arrived for? His 54th birthday celebration with fans! And guess where he’s arrived?? At his famm owned studio – Sunny Super Sound! For the non-industry folks, its a studio that hosts every other movie preview and also has dubbing and post production facilities!”
The information about the studio is correct in the Instagram post although the part about the Porsche is wrong. The caption said that the car is a Porsche Cayenne but automotive enthusiasts know that the car is a Porsche 911 Carrera 4S from 997 generation. This is not the first time the actor has been seen in this Porsche coupe. Previously Bobby was also clicked with his 911 outside his residence as well. The Porsche has seen in the video is finished in a shade of Guards Red which is one of the most iconic Porsche colors.

At the time of launch, the 997 911 Carrera 4S was priced at Rs 1.57 crore in India. The highly capable Carrera 4s came equipped with the legendary 3.0L boxer Flat six petrol engine. At peak this powerplant generated around 450 PS @ 6,500 rpm and 530 Nm of torque @ 4400rpm. The Carrera 4S 3.0L engine also came mated to a 7 speed manual transmission as well a Porsche PDK dual clutch automatic transmission.
On the outside the 911 Carrera 4S looks like every other Porsche 911 and distinguishing it is not an easy task. The iconic silhoutte of the 911 has been the same for decades and it is one of the most recognizable sports car of all time. The 911 for most of the supercars owners has always maintained a name as being one of the most understated yet classy sportscar which is plenty quick and is extremely reliable. The one that Bobby Deol owns as mentioned is from the 997 generation which was the previous generation. The current generation is the 992.
Other notable owners of Porsche 911’s in India include Dr. Shriram Madhav Nene husband of Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit. He owns a white Porsche 911 Carrera 4 from the same 997 generation. Meanwhile another famous South Indian actor Dulquer Salman also owns one of the most revered Porsche 911 models. The actor owns a 2018 model 991.2 Porsche 911 GT3. The 991.1 GT3 is extremely rare as only 3 units came to India and the actor also managed to get his hands on the more coveted six speed manual variant.
