Maruti Suzuki will launch the new Fronx in the Indian market in April. Before the official launch, the Fronx has already reached the dealerships. While Fronx will sell through the Nexa dealership network of Maruti Suzuki, many are comparing the car with the Brezza, which sells through the Arena dealership network. Here is a comparison of both cars parked side by side on a video.
The video starts by comparing the wheelbase of the cars. Even though both the cars are sub-4m, the Maruti Suzuki Brezza has a longer wheelbase by 20mm. The Fronx gets a wheelbase of 2,520mm while the Brezza’s wheelbase measures at 2,500mm. The length of both the vehicles is exactly the same.

The Maruti Suzuki Brezza comes with projector LED headlamps and LED foglamps. The Fronx comes with dual-purpose LED DRLs but the headlamps are reflector-based. There are no projectors available with the new Fronx. Botth the vehicles get the same alloy size of 16-inches but the Fronx gets dual-tone design.
The side profile of the Fronx also comes gets chrome beltline and roof carriers. The Brezza does not gets chrome. The Fronx also gets UV-cut glass while the Brezza gets regular glass. The Fronx and Brezza come with LED tail lamp but the Fronx also gets connected tail lamps with a LED bar.
The bootspace of Brezza measures 328 litres with 60:40 split seats. The Fronx comes with 308 litres of bootspace but there is no 60:40 split seat.
The cabin of both the cars offer similar features but the lay out is different. Both the cars come with infotainment system, height-adjustable driver seat, multi-information display and more. The Fronx feels more premium with soft touch materials all around. The Maruti Suzuki Brezza gets a sunroof while there is no sunroof available with the Fronx.
Coming to the engine options, the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Fronx gets 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine and a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. The Maruti Brezza only gets 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine.
Fronx heavily inspired by Baleno
Both the Fronx and Baleno offer similarities such as their ORVMs and squared-off wheel arches, which contribute to a sturdy and powerful aesthetic. However, the Fronx offers significantly greater ground clearance than the Baleno, although Maruti Suzuki has yet to disclose its official figure. This attribute ensures that the Fronx is equipped to tackle any terrain with ease.
The all-new Fronx is fitted with LED tail lamps and a connected lightbar at the rear, while faux bumper guards adorn both the front and rear. Maruti Suzuki aimed to create a robust and imposing appearance for the Fronx, and has successfully achieved this goal. The Fronx will be exclusively sold through Nexa’s premium dealerships. The Fronx will be launched in the Indian market by 15th April.
