Brand-new Lamborghini Huracan STO supercar gets elaborate pooja and rituals before delivery! [Video]

Spotting a supercar or sports car on the road is not uncommon if you live in a metro city like Delhi, Mumbai, or Bangalore. We have come across several videos of people taking deliveries of such expensive cars. Although these cars are made by foreign manufacturers, the way they are welcomed by their new owners is sometimes truly Indian. Indians often perform prayers and carry out rituals before driving away in a brand new car, no matter how expensive it may be. In a video uploaded by Vipin Maben on their YouTube channel, we see a brand new Lamborghini Huracan STO being delivered to its customer in Bengaluru, where an elaborate pooja and ritual are being carried out before delivery.

The Huracan STO seen in the video gets an interesting shade of green, orange, and black combination, which looks extremely sporty on the car. Once the rituals were done, the Huracan STO was driven out of the dealership, and the owner took the car for a spin. We can also see a new Porsche 911 GT3 in the video, but we are not sure whether this car belongs to the same owner or not. The Huracan STO attracts a lot of attention on the road, with several two-wheeler riders following the sports car to record video and click pictures.

Lamborghini launched the Huracan STO in the Indian market in 2021. This is the fastest version of the Lamborghini Huracan, with a price tag of Rs 4.99 crore, ex-showroom. The Huracan STO is based on the Super Trofeo Evo race car, which has undergone modifications to become road legal. Similar to all other Huracans, the STO is powered by a massive 5.2-litre V10 engine. Although Lamborghini has not altered the engine output, the naturally-aspirated engine still delivers a maximum power of 640 PS and a peak torque of 565 Nm, compared to the 600 Nm offered by the Performante. However, the STO is a rear-wheel-drive car, unlike the Performante, which was an AWD vehicle.

Additionally, Lamborghini has updated the LDVI (Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata) of the car that manages all the drive systems and the rear-wheel steering. The STO-specific drive modes are also available with the car. The car has adaptive dampers to ensure that it provides a comfortable ride on the streets. Furthermore, Lamborghini offers an optional nose lift function with the Huracan STO to help navigate over bumps and speed bumps. This feature will come in handy, especially on Indian roads, where you find speed bumps almost everywhere.

The Lamborghini Huracan STO can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3 seconds, making it approximately 0.3 seconds faster than the RWD Evo. Additionally, it has a limited top speed of 310 km/h. Lamborghini has engineered the STO to be a track-focused car with various features, starting with its weight. The car is approximately 83 kg lighter than the AWD Huracan Evo and 43 kg lighter than the Performante. Lamborghini has utilized carbon fiber extensively in the STO, with 75% of its body panels constructed from this material. Only the doors and roof are not composed of carbon fiber. The car also features active aero systems, which create additional downforce while on the track.
