Kia Seltos GT imagined with a monstrous V8 engine

There’s no denying the fact that the Kia Seltos is one of the most in-demand and dynamic midsize SUVs right now. The sportier and contemporary styling of the Kia Seltos is backed by a fantastic set of engine options, which make it equally dynamic behind the steering wheel. However, for those who are wanting more, here’s a sportier-looking Kia Seltos imagined with a Dodge’s 6.4-litre Hemi V8 engine.

A digital rendering uploaded by “Bimble Designs” on Instagram shows a heavily-restyled Kia Seltos with several restyled exterior bits. This heavily-customized digital rendering of the Kia Seltos showcases the SUV is based on the top-spec X-Line variant, which comes with a matt paint scheme but has been named GT Dark Edition. On the outside, this digital rendering of the Kia Seltos comes with a host of red-coloured bits, such as red highlights on the lower part of the grille, red front and rear bumper skirtings and red side skirts.

The rest of exterior of this digital rendering of the Kia Seltos looks closer to the production-spec model currently on sale. However, the front bumper here looks different with a larger and sportier trapezoidal air dam in the middle and faux air vents on the corners. This particular version of the Seltos also gets a roof-mounted carrier, which is bolted on the roof rails of the SUV. This Seltos also gets a different-looking set of larger-sized black alloy wheels.

Gets a red theme

While the rendering doesn’t show a clear view of the interior, a glimpse of the interior reveals that it has been treated with a red theme for the entire cabin, including for seats, door panels, roof liners and dashboard. However, the biggest highlight of this digital rendering is the 6.4-litre Hemi V8 engine under its engine hood, which is found in some of the Stellantis’ top-spec cars like the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT.

While this digital rendering shows a 6.4-litre Hemi V8 engine under the hood of the Kia Seltos, we believe that the engine bay of the Seltos is not large enough to house this monstrous V8 engine. In reality, the Kia Seltos is currently offered with two engine options – a 1.5-litre 115 PS petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. There was also a sportier 1.4-litre 140 turbocharged petrol engine available in the Seltos, which was discontinued during the transition to BS6 phase-II emission norms acceptance.
