The C3 Aircross utilizes the company’s CMP platform, which is shared with the smaller C3 hatchback. However, this new SUV boasts larger dimensions, measuring nearly 4.3 meters in length, with a wheelbase of 2,671mm and a ground clearance of 200mm. Its design adopts a boxy aesthetic, featuring distinctive split Y-themed daytime-running LEDs and halogen headlamps at the front, along with C-shaped LED tail lamps at the rear.
Inside the C3 Aircross, you’ll find a simple yet elegant design, characterized by a dual-tone black and beige theme. The cabin is equipped with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a full-TFT instrument console. Additional features include leatherette upholstery, powered rear-view mirrors, and roof-mounted AC vents for rear passengers. However, amenities such as a sunroof, wireless charging, and ventilated seats are missing from the list.
Petrol only
Under the hood, the C3 Aircross offers a sole engine option: a 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine generating 110 bhp of power and 190 Nm of torque. This engine comes paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard, with no current availability of an automatic transmission option. Citroen has confirmed that a fully-electric variant of the C3 Aircross is also in development.
On the exterior, Citroen has added body cladding and wheel arch mouldings, along with front and rear silver skid plates, lift-type door handles, roof rails, and 17-inch machined alloy wheels. The five-seater version offers a boot space of 444 litres, while the 5+2 seating version features two small seats in the third row. With the third row folded flat, the boot space expands to 511 litres.
The upcoming SUV will be offered in two seating configurations: a five-seater and a seven-seater. It will be exclusively available as a petrol vehicle with a localization level of 90%. The SUV is anticipated to be released for sale in the upcoming months.
