Tata Nexon facelift interiors: What they look like at night [Video]

The Tata Nexon is currently one of the most anticipated launches from an Indian car manufacturer. They have been working on the facelift version of the Nexon for a significant period of time. The official launch of the SUV is yet to occur; however, we have started to see undisguised production-ready versions of the upcoming compact SUV on the road. The car was recently spotted in the mountains during a TVC shoot. Shortly after that, another video surfaced showcasing the interior of the all-new Tata Nexon at night. The video also provides a glimpse of how the rear of the SUV appears at night.

The video has been shared by Prateek Singh on his YouTube channel. Notably, the video was originally sourced from another YouTube channel. It was recorded by an individual who was driving the all-new Nexon SUV. The car was actually part of a convoy, with several more Nexon SUVs visible at the front. It seems that these cars were being transported for a media drive. The first thing you would notice in this video is the large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment screen and the all-new fully digital instrument cluster. This feature alone lends the car a highly premium look.

The dashboard has been redesigned, and the interior has a distinct appearance as well. The illuminated Tata logo on the new steering wheel, finished in gloss black, is also visible here. The Interior Rear-View Mirror (IRVM) in the Nexon now features auto-dimming, and there are other indicator lights on the roof, which appear to be related to airbags. The center console of the Nexon is wrapped in leatherette, housing automatic climate control and an all-new gear lever. This particular version appears to be the automatic variant, likely the DCT variant, as paddle shifters can be seen behind the steering wheel. The two-spoke multi-function steering wheel is also visible. The car also comes equipped with a 360-degree camera feature, and the clarity of the screen and cameras is evident in the video. A comprehensive review of the all-new Nexon will be published on our website and YouTube channel once we have the opportunity to test drive the car in the upcoming weeks.

The video also demonstrates the headlight throw at night. The driver takes the phone out of the sunroof to show the vehicles in front. The convoy was passing through a dark section of road, and the car’s headlights were sufficiently bright to fully illuminate the road. Another aspect that many people are eager to see is the design of the tail lamps. The sleek LED tail lamps on the Nexon look exceptionally good, and the connecting LED bar that spans the width of the car provides it with a distinct identity.

The Tata Nexon will be available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine will be offered with a 5-speed manual transmission and a 7-speed DCT transmission. The 1.5-liter turbo diesel engine will continue to be paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed AMT gearbox. The official launch of the Tata Nexon is scheduled for September 14. Alongside the internal combustion engine version, Tata will also be introducing the updated Nexon EV facelift in the market on the same date. We are planning to test drive the facelifted EV in September.
