Popular Tamil actress Nayanthara, known for her role in the recent Shahrukh Khan movie, received a Mercedes Maybach luxury car worth Rs 3 crore as a gift on her birthday. The luxury car was gifted by her husband, Vignesh, who is a popular film director in the Tamil film industry. Nayanthara is an actress recognized for her work in the Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam film industries, having appeared in over 80 movies in the last two decades. She shared the image of the Maybach logo on the bonnet of her new car on social media to inform her fans about the gift.

The image or images circulating online do not share much information about the vehicle, as the actress herself has not revealed much. However, reports suggest that the car costs around Rs 3 crore. Currently, Mercedes-Benz officially sells the Maybach version of the S-Class sedan as well as the GLS600 flagship SUV in the market. In fact, the GLS600 was the first-ever Maybach SUV officially sold in India, becoming an instant hit among celebrities. Many Bollywood celebrities, South Indian actors, and businessmen have already purchased this SUV.
The Maybach S580 sedan costs around Rs 2.69 crore ex-showroom, while the Maybach S680 sedan costs Rs 3.40 crore. The GLS 600 SUV has an ex-showroom price of Rs 2.96 crore. Assuming Nayanthara’s Maybach costs around Rs 3 crore, it’s likely she was gifted a Maybach GLS600 SUV, which is extremely popular among celebrities in India.
From the shared online image, it appears the car is finished in Rubellite Red shade. The couple might have opted for the dual-tone paint scheme, with the lower part of the SUV finished in Obsidian Black. Another reason indicating Nayanthara’s choice of the GLS600 is because the S580 or S680 doesn’t offer this shade of Red from the factory. This is an expensive shade, and Mercedes-Maybach India’s official website mentions that this dual-tone paint job alone costs 39.04 lakh.
The luxury SUV comes with premium features, including lounge-style seating, a panoramic sunroof, a rear-seat entertainment package, a compact refrigerator, a Burmester audio system, and a virtual assistant. The SUV looks significantly more premium and features additional chrome accents on the outside compared to the regular GLS. The front grille on the Maybach version is also slightly different from the regular version. The SUV gets projector LED headlamps with dual-function LED DRLs. The lower part of the bumper gets chrome vents and a skid plate as well.
Regarding the engine, the Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 engine, accompanied by a 48V mild-hybrid system. The engine delivers a peak power of 557 PS and 730 Nm of torque. The hybrid system can provide an additional 22 PS and 250 Nm of torque on demand. A 9-speed automatic transmission channels the power to all four wheels. The ex-showroom price of the Maybach GLS600 is Rs 2.96 crore. Other actors who own a Maybach GLS600 luxury SUV include Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgn, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Ram Charan, and even Malayalam actor Mammooty owns a GLS600 SUV.
