Every automotive enthusiast dreams of owning a car and modifying it to their taste. However, despite buying their dream car, a lot of people hesitate to modify their cars because of the expensive modifications. But sometimes, it’s not necessary to spend huge amounts of money on the vehicle to make it look unique. Recently, a Volkswagen Virtus owner has shared a video online in which he shows all the affordable modifications that he has done on his vehicle to make it look super distinct and beautiful.

Modified Volkswagen Virtus 1.0 TSI

The video of this fully modified Volkswagen Virtus has been shared on YouTube by Japs and Parts on their channel. It starts off with a few beauty shots of the modified Virtus. Following the B-roll, the presenter starts off with the introduction of his car and all the modifications done on it. He starts by stating that at the moment, the vehicle only has cosmetic modifications, and he is planning on doing performance modifications as well. He added that those, however, are in the pipeline and will be done after the vehicle gets 1 year old.

Next up, he begins showing all the cosmetic upgrades done by him. The first thing he talks about is the painted alloy wheels of his Virtus. The owner explains that his Virtus is the top-line variant, which is the most expensive variant of the 1.0-litre petrol TSI model. He adds that this model comes with the 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, which he didn’t like. So he asked the dealership to paint them.

He added that the front grille and the Volkswagen logo, along with all the window trims and other chrome elements, have been painted. He explained that he could have wrapped them, but he went for paint instead.

Following this, he moved to the headlights of the car and stated that he has smoked the headlights. He mentions that although they look very sinister, there is a reduction of 15-20% in the throw of lights on the road at night. He added that he will be soon changing them back to stock. Apart from this, the presenter shows the ABS plastic front splitter which cost him Rs 2,500 and another Rs 1,000 per piece to fit at a body shop.
