The Haryana-born fitness enthusiast is known for his desi workout regime and recently made it to the headlines for his 75-day hard challenge. He constantly posts videos related to fitness on his YouTube channel, and he recently gifted himself a brand new Toyota Hilux pickup truck.
The video has been shared by MicroStrategy on their YouTube channel. In this vlogger starts his videos as usual, where he is seen going out to work out early in the morning. The video doesn’t show much of his workout as it was dark. After the workout, Ankit, along with his family, gets into a Mahindra Scorpio and starts driving the SUV to a Toyota dealership in Delhi. It looks like the YouTuber had placed a booking for a Hilux, and the day had finally come when he was taking its delivery.
He, along with his family, goes to the dealership in the Scorpio. His father, who was probably seeing an automatic car for the first time, can be seen checking out the car and also knowing more about it. One of the members from the family was also educating his father on how to drive an automatic car while Ankit was signing the documents before taking the delivery. The Hilux offers a choice of five exterior colors: White Pearl, Emotional Red, Super White, Grey Metallic, and Silver Metallic. It looks like he opted for the grey shade for his truck. He, along with his family, takes the delivery, and the truck was finally unveiled.
Once this was done, the dealership had arranged a cake to celebrate the occasion, and after this, Ankit drove the car out. He drove the car back home, and his parents did the religious rituals before welcoming the new car to the family. Toyota Hilux is one of the most popular pickup trucks in the world. You might remember it from the famous British motoring show Top Gear’s episode where they try to destroy a Hilux, and it comes back to life every single time. It was called indestructible, and many of the ads by Toyota were also created in such a manner. The Hilux was not officially available in India until 2022. It is currently the most expensive 4-door pickup truck available in India.
It has a massive fan following globally, and just like any Toyota product, it is extremely reliable. The car comes with leather upholstery, an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, a cooled glovebox, cruise control, tilt and telescopic steering, and a powered driver’s seat. Coming to the engine, Hilux is only available with a diesel engine. It uses the 2.8-liter four-cylinder diesel engine generating 204 PS of power and 500 Nm of torque that is seen with Fortuner. This engine is available with a 6-speed manual and automatic transmission option. Both the engines get a 4×4 system as standard. The price for a brand new Toyota Hilux starts at Rs 30.40 lakh, ex-showroom and goes up to Rs 37.90 lakh, ex-showroom.
