India’s New ‘Gold Man’ Stops Traffic To Make Instagram Reel: Internet Wants Cops To Act

Social media has become an integral part of our lives. Many people have taken this as a full-time job and are creating viral content online. Lately, we have been seeing a trend where these influencers are seen doing stunts on public roads. Here we have a video from Delhi, where an Isuzu V-Cross wrapped in gold stopped traffic on a flyover in Delhi for the sake of creating an Instagram reel. After the video went viral, netizens have asked police to take action against the driver.

The video has been shared by Lovely Bakshi on his X (Twitter) profile. In this video, we see a modified Isuzu V-Cross pickup coming to a stop in the middle of the road. The incident happened in Delhi’s Paschim Vihar area. We can clearly see that there is a decent amount of vehicles on the road and without any warning, the car driver parked the car in the middle of the road.

Once the car came to a stop, two men got out of the pickup. The person driving the car was wearing heavy gold jewelry. He was dressed up like the Gold Man – Sunny Waghchure from Pune. It looks like someone else likes this style of wearing gold jewelry and wrapping their car in a gold shade.

It was clear from the video that the new Gold Man from Delhi had intentions to create a viral video and he decided to block the traffic intentionally. After this clip, we see the same Isuzu V-Cross plying on Delhi road with the front door open. The driver once again is seen posing for the camera while driving it.

He is also seen driving the car recklessly on the road. Towards the end, we can see him swerving the car left and right. Once this video went viral, we have been seeing several comments under it from netizens asking police to take action. Many of them have even tagged Delhi Police and senior police officials; however, Delhi Police is yet to respond in this matter.

One of them wrote, “Uttar Pradesh police ki tarah karwayi honi chahiye, gaddi seize ke sath-sath inko hawalat me band kar dena chahiye!!” (These men should be arrested, and the vehicle must be seized, just like how Uttar Pradesh police deals with such nuisance).

Another person wrote that they are very confident that cops are not going to catch them. Even if they trace them, it would be for namesake. These men won’t learn a lesson and would continue to indulge in such activities.

Once again, we would like to remind that public roads are for everyone and this is not the place for anyone to perform such stunts. The Isuzu driver not only created inconvenience to other road users, but the chances of vehicles crashing into each other were also high.

If you really want to do such stunts, look for closed roads and tracks. We really hope that Delhi police tracks down this vehicle and issues a hefty fine for such irresponsible behavior.
