Hyundai will officially launch the all-new Elite i20 in the Indian market later this year. Before that, the premium hatchback will be launched in foreign markets. While Hyundai is still testing the Indian-spec of the all-new i20 on the Indian roads, in the European market, the manufacturer has officially revealed the hatchback too! Here is an official video that shows the all-new Hyundai i20 from all around. This is the European-spec car but the Indian version will remain largely similar to this version in terms of looks.
The all-new Hyundai Elite i20 is designed as per the new “Sensuous Sportiness” design philosophy of the brand. It looks very aggressive and offers sportier look than the current version of the Elite i20. To start with, the all-new Hyundai Elite i20 offers a new bumper at the front, which gets an integrated splitter. The front grille has been updated too and it is much bigger than before. Also, the grille in all-black shade adds to the sporty look. The sleek headlamps of the all-new Elite i20 are also a head-turner. The headlamps get all-LED set-up with integrated LED DRLs. The bonnet lid also gets deep creases that add a sporty look to the car.
The all-new Elite i20 also gets deep creases on the side that merges into the C-Pillar. The C-Pillar also gets a chrome accent adding to the premium look. The new car gets the dual-tone alloy wheels that look gorgeous. At the rear, the all-new Elite i20 gets Z-shaped LED tail lamps with LED elements. There are small i20 monikers inside the tail lamp assembly that makes it very premium. The tail lamps are connected through a lightbar and above that, a black gloss stripe is placed. The roof also gets a shark fin antenna.
The all-new Hyundai Elite i20 also gets a new cabin. The colour of the dashboard of the new Elite i20 gets a new premium design with AC vents that run across the dashboard. The instrument cluster is now all-digital and there is a massive 10.25-inch driver information display. Even the infotainment system is 10.25-inch and supports features like BlueLink, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Overall, the all-new Elite i20 gets a long list of features and we believe that there will be many segment-first features in the car.
The all-new Hyundai Elite i20 will get both petrol and diesel engine options. There will be a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol and a 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine option. Hyundai is expected to offer the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol only with the DCT automatic transmission while the other two engine options will be available with CVT and 6-speed automatic transmission options.
